Location
Hammersmith station is two minutes’ walk and has four tube lines running through it, so getting anywhere in London is straightforward. South Kensington is ten minutes for Imperial College students, and the Piccadilly Line goes directly to Heathrow. King Street has all the usual shops plus independent restaurants and pubs along the Thames. The Lyric Theatre and Riverside Studios are both nearby if you like live performances. West London has a different feel from the east, quieter and more residential, with easy access to Chiswick and Richmond for riverside walks at the weekend.
Features
Every room is a self-contained studio with your own bathroom and kitchenette. The building has a cinema room, a separate fitness studio alongside the main gym (both free), plus a games room, study areas and a private dining room. Some rooms face an internal courtyard, which tends to be quieter. Bike storage and laundry are on site. Bills, Wi-Fi and contents insurance are all included, with 24/7 security. The fitness studio is a nice extra that most student buildings don’t have.
