Aldgate East tube is a four-minute walk, and Whitechapel station gives you the Elizabeth Line, one of the newest and fastest routes across London, running from Heathrow through the centre to Canary Wharf. The area has plenty of supermarkets, shops and restaurants along Whitechapel Road. Students from universities across east and central London live here for the transport and the lower rents compared to Zone 1.
