This charming residence is located amongst stylish garden squares of Bayswater, with both Lancaster Gate Station and Paddington Station (both zone 1) just minutes away. The area stands alongside Hyde Park Gardens as one of the two grandest of the 19th-century housing schemes lining the northern side of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and is famous for its elegant Georgian architecture. The residence itself is located overlooking Kensington Gardens.
Just a short stroll through Hyde Park and the hustle and you find yourself in the bustle of popular shopping areas such as Mayfair, Bond Street and Oxford Circus. However, after a couple of minutes walk through the peaceful park you might forget you are in the middle of one of the world’s greatest cities.

This large Georgian townhouse offers accommodation to 89 guests. The accommodation is a cross between a student residence and a high-end hostel with the rooms divided into a combination of single, twin and multi-bedded rooms. Facilities within the residence include a large dining area, a TV room, an onsite laundry, vending machines and 24-hour security including CCTV.
This is a catered residence meaning breakfast and a three-course dinner are included in the price as are all utility bills, Wi-Fi and basic contents insurance. There is also a kitchen pantry should you wish to make your own lunch or a snack between meals. If you are booking for a full academic year you can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you are booking for a shorter period e.g. a single semester or a summer stay, you will be allocated the room type (single studio, twin studio, single en suite etc) you have booked but the exact specification may be subject to availability. This can include the floor the room is located on, the direction the room is facing, if the room is classed as a standard, a club, a premium, an accessible, a premium accessible etc.
If you do have a special request, please let us know and we will do our best to help you.
If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Yes, please note that a damage deposit of £200 will be taken by the residence when you check-in. The residence will refund the deposit after your stay providing your room has not been damaged and the rules of the residence have been observed during your stay. The arrangement of the damage deposit is between you and the accommodation supplier (the residence). Please ask the residence upon check-in for the full terms and conditions on the arrangement and for details on how and when the deposit will be refunded.
Generally speaking, between 5 and 6 people share the bathroom facilities at the residence.
Evening meals are served from Monday-Friday 18.30-20:30, however, on weekends a lunch is served instead from 12:30 to 13:30. A vegetarian option is available.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have shared bathroom facilities on each floor of the residence. Single rooms are not shared, whereas Twin, Triple and Quad rooms are shared with other members of the same sex.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
